Redland School is a co-educational day school with an age range of 4 to 18 and a roll of roughly 800 pupils (mainly from local families). The curriculum includes PYP, MYP and IB Diploma, but also caters for local requirements. The school is approaching its 59th anniversary.

Initial three-year contract, renewable by mutual consent, offers competitive salary, reduced
fees for children at Redland and local medical cover; also, where pertinent, free furnished
accommodation and air fares at start and end of contract.

The successful candidate is likely to have at least a reasonable level of Spanish, some working experience in Latin America, and to be an inspiring team leader, capable of taking the school forward in the areas of teaching and learning, but at the same time stressing the importance of community service, cultural activities and sport. He or she will be a qualified teacher with several years of teaching experience, possibly in the IB programme. A strong sense of moral leadership and a genuine liking for young people are essential.
