Jennifer Imholt joined Search Associates in 2017, following a 23 year career focused on international education. Her professional experience has included teaching and administrative work in Washington, New York and in six international schools around the world.
Jennifer spent the early years of her career as an elementary and middle school teacher in Washington State. Later, her career would take her to the American School of Doha, Qatar, Hiroshima International School, Japan, Colegio Internacional Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela, American School of Asuncion, Paraguay, Colegio Nueva Granada, Colombia and the International Community School of Abidjan, Cote d’ Ivoire over the course of 19 years.
Her international experience included a variety of roles and grade levels. She has been an elementary class teacher, a Learning Support Specialist and Special Needs Case Manager for children Pre-Kindergarten to Middle School age. Additionally, she worked as a Curriculum Coordinator, and Interim Lower School Principal. A fluent Spanish speaker, Jennifer developed her linguistic skills during the eleven years working in South America.
Jennifer earned a B.A. in Communication from Washington State University, and an M.A. in Teaching with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction, from City University, Seattle, Washington.
Jennifer is the Search Associate representative for Latin America and will be organizing an International Recruiting Fair in Panama City, Panama in November 2018.
