👤 Presenter: Lucy Lundstrom, International Area Manager - Americas and Caribbean
📄 Description: In this session, we’ll discuss how including standalone SEL initiatives in schools benefits school culture for students, staff, and families, creating a supportive educational environment that facilitates personalised learning and culturally-responsive teaching. Using case studies of Unifrog partner schools as examples, we’ll explore some of the ways that schools can actively integrate social and emotional learning into their curriculum and the positive outcomes that can come from doing so.
We’ll also discuss CASEL and ISCA, two of the leading organisations in the SEL space, and we’ll look at how the objectives and competencies proposed by both organisations are addressed within the Unifrog SEL curriculum.
