Hub D (Chile): AI for school leadership
On 7th August, Heads and senior leaders from six LAHC schools - Craighouse School, Dunalastair School, Redland School, Saint John's School, The Grange School and The Mayflower School - met at Redland School for AI and the Future of Learning, led by Gabriel Rshaid of The Learnerspace.
The workshop explored how AI can enhance teaching, extend cognition, support strategic planning and streamline school processes.
The event was also the first sponsored Hub, supported by Gold sponsor Innovamat and iSAMS by IRIS.
Hub D Student Great Ensemble
That evening, Craighouse School hosted a standout arts event inspired by The Greatest Showman.
More than 150 students from five LAHC schools - Craighouse School, Colegio Lirima, Redland School, Saint John’s School and The Mayflower School - collaborated across choir, band, orchestra, dance, theatre, stage design and visual arts. In just two days they created a fantastic performance.
The ensemble showcased creativity, teamwork and connection among students — a highlight of the Hub series.
Hub F (Mexico): Student engagement and higher‑order thinking
At the end of May, The Wingate School opened the Hub series with a day focused on student engagement and higher‑order thinking.
Colleagues from Instituto Bilingüe VICTORIA, Lancaster School and The Edron Academy took part in eight practical breakout sessions, including real‑time marking, embodied learning and journaling in mathematics.
These sessions, followed by a reflective plenary, created a rich exchange of classroom practice across the Hub.
Hub A (Peru): Coaching for leadership
In June, Markham College welcomed LAHC schools across Peru for a day focused on Coaching for Leadership. With around 175 accredited coaches, the event highlighted Markham’s coaching journey and its work with local schools.
Colleagues from Abraham Lincoln Peruvian North American School, Cambridge College, Euroamerican College, Fleming College, Hiram Bingham School, Newton College, Nordic International School, San Silvestre School and St. George’s College, Lima took part in job‑alike conversations and practical exchanges on developing coaching cultures across their communities.
