Claire HarveyLed by Claire Harvey MBE, an inclusion expert and Paralympian, led the session on building resilience within school communities, providing members with advice and several practical strategies on how to use resilience to create positive habits, attitudes and responses.                                                                                                                              This LAHC Insights online presentation series are designed to enable our members engage with experts on a range of educational topics, from safeguarding and protecting children when staff have little contact with them to building resilience among all members of the school community and ensuring wellbeing during these difficult times.

LAHC will host these encounters weekly until the end of May/early June, enabling our members to hear from and interact with these speakers, and, of course, each other in a focused and safe manner.

Next week’s presentation will be led by Katie Rigg, Head of Safeguarding & Student Well-being at Council of International Schools (CIS), on Child Protection & Safeguarding during COVID-19: Key considerations for schools. We will be releasing more details later this week on how to register for the meeting.
