It is with great sadness that we share with the LAHC and wider educational community the news of the passing of Bertie Noble, a truly inspirational educator who founded and led Bede's Grammar School in Argentina for over 40 years and who was a staunch supporter of LAHC from its foundation.
Anyone who was fortunate enough to meet Bertie would instantly know that they were in the company of an extraordinary individual, who forged a genuinely unique educational path that transformed the lives of generations of students, colleagues and families. He was a bold and passionate educator, who regularly tore up the rule book for what he believed to be right, touching the lives of everyone that came into contact with him, through his razor sharp intelligence, his keen wit and his deeply rooted humanity, among many other outstanding qualities.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and we pass on our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and the Bede's community.
