Description
Craighouse School is seeking an experienced and reflective educator to join its Senior School leadership team as Head of Department – Psychology, Philosophy and Theory of Knowledge (TOK).
The successful candidate will be a teacher of Philosophy, Psychology, ToK or Social Sciences, with demonstrated experience in Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and will provide academic leadership to a team of four teachers. The role involves close collaboration with the Senior Section Academic Coordinator to ensure high-quality teaching and learning aligned with the principles and practices of the International Baccalaureate (IB).

Essential qualifications and experience include:
• A recognised teaching qualification in Philosophy, Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
• Proven knowledge and experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme, particularly within the Diploma Programme.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in middle leadership or academic coordination roles.
• Proficiency in English at a basic or intermediate level.
