San Silvestre is currently seeking a teacher of Drama who can build positive teacher-student relationships and establish a learning culture that engages and supports the progress of all students studying Drama. This teacher will have a responsibility beyond the classroom to lead drama performances. This is a full-time teaching post beginning August 2026.
Roles and Responsibilities
● To teach Drama in Middle and Senior School including IGCSE and IB Level.
● To provide extra-curricular opportunities for Drama and Theatre.
● To lead drama performances during the school day and after school hours.

Requirements
Essential
● Experience in teaching Drama.
● A Bachelors (or equivalent) degree in Drama or a subject related to Drama.
● The ability to read, write and speak in English.
● Evidence of being an excellent teacher, preferably with experience in an international school.
● Effective communication and teamwork skills.
● Excellent information technology skills. Desirable
● A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. Ed.M., PGCE, QTS).
● Experience in teaching the IGCSE and/or IB Programme (specifically Drama/Theater).
● Masters or postgraduate qualification in a related subject.
● Experience in using Atlas Curriculum Management.
● Familiarity with Google tools for Education; (specifically Google Classroom).
● Experience in teaching Drama.
