Description
The well-established Primary School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, creative and experienced Primary Teacher, to start in August 2024. Applicants for the post will have up-to-date knowledge and be experienced practitioners. The successful applicants will join a dedicated and dynamic team and will work in our 320 pupil school, situated in the capital, Stanley. Our students are at the centre of all that we do as a school.

Applicants for the posts will have experience across the primary age range which will enable them to be an effective PPA cover teacher. Currently in our school, the PPA cover teacher delivers Computing across the age range in a dedicated IT space within the school. We would be interested in hearing from applicants who could deliver Computing, or who could deliver another primary subject area, as part of PPA cover.

Requirements
They are seeking to recruit a Primary Teacher who:

• is focused on helping children achieve high levels of progress in a happy and effective learning environment

• is a graduate with qualified teacher status (appropriate age range) who has completed their ECF induction and preferably has at least 1 years' successful teaching experience post ECF

• is experienced in the primary age range

• can demonstrate a thorough recent knowledge of the English National Curriculum, with expertise in at least one subject area

• is committed to differentiation and SEND inclusive practice

• can effectively monitor, assess, record and report on pupils’ progress

• can work within and contribute to coaching and mentoring environment

• has good interpersonal skills and works well in teams

• possesses secure IT skills and has good IWB knowledge

• is able to contribute to the development of extra curriculum opportunities

• has a sense of adventure
